Debra Gionet, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, wanted to be a psychotherapist since childhood. After graduating with a Bachelors degree in Economics and a Minor in Health Care and Social Issues, she jumped at an opportunity to live abroad in Latin America where she learned to speak Spanish.

Debra earned a Masters of Science in Social Work (MSSW) and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW# 21514} with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences in November 2003. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin 's School of Social Work in 1998 with a MSSW and a specialized area of concentration in Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Issues. Since then, she has provided psychotherapy for adults, teens, and children for more than 9 years.

Debra is proud of her memberships in professional organizations including the National Association of Social Workers, California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, American Association of Christian Counselors and is affiliated with the Christian Counseling Center of San Jose and the Addiction Recovery Center .
